Proverbs 24:10 If you fail under pressure, your strength is not very great.

Have you ever read this verse and found yourself wondering "Is God trying to demean our labour, or is he trying to underestimate how hard we try?"

Absolutely not!

God sees how hard you're trying, he knows how tough it is, but he wants you to know that whatever the challenge before you, whatever the circumstances, inherent in you is the ability to surpass it all.

1 Cor 10:13 says " No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it." God knows your challenges and is also aware of your limits.

Note that there is little you can actually do with your own strength " for by the arm of flesh, no man can prevail"- this is where he comes in…his grace is sufficient, he's gives strength to the weary,rely on him, tap into the provisions of his strength.
