There's a story in Judges chapter 7 that I will like to show you.

God had seen the afflictions of the Israelites, how the Midianites kept torturing them.

At the time, the Philistines would come during harvest to plunder the Israelites of their hard-earned labours; it was at this difficult time that God called Gideon to send him right to the enemy's camp.

God knew it would take more than words of affirmation and instructions to get Gideon to be courageous.

So, God had to tell him to sneak down to the enemy's camp and listen to what the enemies had to say.

In verses 9-15, he overheard a Midianite soldier describing a dream of victory even before a fight.

The Midianite soldier said:
A loaf of barley bread rolled into the Midianite camp and knocked down a tent.

There, another soldier interpreted the dream immediately:
“This can be nothing other than the sword of Gideon… God has given the Midianites into his hands.”

This testimony strengthened him, and he dared to go.

Look around and connect the dots.

God has positioned everything around you to utter the speech of courage to you.

But are you paying attention?

Can you see God's intentionality? He went the extra mile just to build confidence and courage in Gideon.

That unplanned conversation between you and your friend, the instagram/Facebook reel, those casual posts you see while scrolling through the net, could be your own Midianite's dream.

Its purpose is single, to give you the needed courage to move!
_

Proceed and do what God has empowered you to do. Remember, you're made just for this!

Shalom.
