Beloved, welcome to the last quarter of the year!

Guess what? Regardless of how the other months have been, we have a God who has promised to crown the year with His goodness. (Psalms 65:11)

That means that, every brick you've laid since January is making up a building that's about to be roofed.

Only if thou would be courageous!

Do you know why?

You can't move forward without courage.

It takes courage to move.

In fact, it takes courage to stand, let alone move.

Especially if you've been lying down for so long.

That is why, for every command to move forward, there's always first the command to be courageous.

As a matter of fact, checking through the Miracles and Healing Ministries of Jesus and the Apostles, we see this pattern.

In Acts of the Apostles 3:1–8, the lame man at the Beautiful Gate was told by Peter:
“In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

This was after Peter had received the Holy Spirit in the upper room. One would've thought the miracle should be automatic.

But Scripture adds something crucial:
“And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up…”

Not until then could the lame man receive his healing and miracles.

Remember the man at Bethesda, who had been there for 38 years; Jesus told him: ''Rise, take up your bed and walk.”

That's a lot of courage!

A man who probably hadn't stood in all his0 life now receives the instructions not just to rise, but to also bend to take his bed and, lastly, to walk...

That's a lot! Especially when he wasn't used to that formula; everything he knew about miracles was the stirring of the water by the Angel.

Do you also remember Joshua? There was prophecy hanging over his head as Moses' successor. Moses himself had impacted him, but God knew he would have amounted to nothing without courage.

He would've ended up just as a man who had potential without ever fulfilling it.

But God reached out to him just as he's reaching out to you today.

Yes, you might have had long seasons of helplessness which had weakened your confidence

You know God had given you the command to move. You are so sure that you can bank on His words... But somehow, you're pressed down due to past hurts, inadequacies, patterns...

However, if you must move past the disappointment and weariness, you need courage.

Here's the most beautiful thing: there's divine assistance!

He's waiting to lift you as He lifted Jairus' daughter.

Only be courageous...

Shalom!
