Hello!
Remember that story in the book of Mark where Jesus placed His disciples on the ship, and as they were on the ship, there were other little ships around them? Then a storm came and almost overthrew them, but Jesus stood up and rebuked the wind.
You notice that if Jesus had not rebuked the wind, not only would the disciples have drowned, but even those little ships around them would have drowned. This stuck with me: many other times in life, the challenges we face are not there to destroy us alone, but to destroy the lives also tied to us.
If we do not stand as the saviors God has sent us to be, as deliverers and people of might, we will not only truncate what God has for us or thwart His purpose for us, but also the lives and destinies of all those people in the other ships.
It's so funny. We just have to be the bold ones in most cases. If Jesus had waited for somebody else to calm the storm, they would have all drowned. Rather than waiting for a savior, sometimes when we notice something is wrong, when we see that something is not working well, we should stand up, be the saviors, be the ones making the move, be the ones causing the change.
So this is a shout-out and a call to action: when you notice something is wrong, rather than complain, or wait for somebody, or hope for somebody, or pray for somebody, be the person. Because creation indeed is waiting for you, and it's waiting for me.
